our mission
The children of asylum seekers and refugees in Britain are vulnerable and may have experienced traumatic situations. schools and communities play a great role in promoting the wellbeing of these children, helping them rebuild self-esteem and succeed in education.

the Cardiff Chinese community school has been operating since 1978 with around 70 students aged between 5-12, with more than 80% of those being children of asylum seekers.

from previous achievements, robot dewey has proven to have a positive impact in education and improving the social engagement between individuals.
as a result of this our aim is to help the children at the local Chinese School with their language lessons and skills through the use of a robotic language tutor.
